Cerbai was founded in San Miniato as a small craft workshop, where the founder, trained by Florentine master leatherworkers, made hand bags. The turning point came when a famous British brand asked him to create a leather accessory to embellish its garments. That seemingly simple detail transforms the product, enhances its value and contributes to an increase in sales. It is at that moment that a new vision takes shape: leather, even in its most discreet elements, can redefine the identity of a garment. Origins<\/h4>

Cerbai was born in San Miniato. After a long apprenticeship alongside Florentine leather masters, founder Marcello opened a workshop on his doorstep, specializing in the production of handcrafted leather bags.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

1989<\/div>

The turning point<\/h4>

A British brand commissions a leather accessory to enhance its garments. The insight is immediate: that small detail changes the product. The accessory is no longer a complement, but an element of identity.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

1995<\/div>

The generational transition<\/h4>

Luca Cerbai joins the company, bringing a new vision: consolidating tradition and integrating it with more modern and scalable processes.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Tradition and innovation<\/h4>

CAD\/CAM systems are introduced. Production expands: in addition to accessories, Cerbai begins making leather garments and fashion components, always maintaining the handcrafted touch.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>
